Way Out There: Tabatha and Andrew

Here's a character sheet I did to illustrate a mother and child from a personal project I'm working on.

I'm doing some world building around a handful of families who are forced to work on an off world colony to try and provide themselves a better life and eventually better opportunities for their children.

Sadly, the promises they were made turn out to be hollow as they learn they've been left to fend for themselves against, famine, outlaws, harsh climate, poor working and living conditions and even paramilitary operations seeking control over territory.

The bureaucrats and contractors sworn to protect them privately despise them, so the only help these families can count on comes from one another.
These two characters are Tabatha and Andrew Hobbes.

Tabatha is a widow and a single mother and Andrew is her son, who is affected by Down Syndrome.
